July 2025 Newsletter

Sat Nam – welcome to the July newsletter. First, a huge thank you to everyone who co-created our Summer Solstice Retreat in Glastonbury. It was magical – and we’re already excited for next year!

For many, July invites us to slow down, unwind, and explore. Wherever you’re travelling, may your adventures be joyful – and, as we say in the Kundalini tradition: “May the long-time sun shine upon you; all love surround you; and the pure light within you guide your way on.”

Mantra for July – Chotay Pad

Sat Narayan Waheguru, Hari Narayan Sat Nam. Narayan relates to the water aspect of Infinity; Hari Narayan is innovative sustenance. Chanting brings calm, clears the subconscious, and awakens the inner power to recognise the Infinite in this lifetime. Sing while you move through your day.

Meditation – “The mudra which pleases the mind”

This practice tranquillises the mind in around three minutes.

  • Posture: Easy Pose, spine tall, light Neck Lock.
  • Mudra: Bend index fingers to the second joint and press together; middle fingers extended to meet at tips; remaining fingers curled; thumb tips together pointing toward the body. Hold ~10 cm from the chest with fingers pointing forward.
  • Eyes: Focus on the tip of the nose.
  • Breath & Mantra: Inhale fully; hold and repeat your mantra 11-21 times. Exhale; hold out and repeat the same count.

Kriya for July – Elevation

A wonderful tune-up for the chakras that leaves you feeling elevated. You can read the full Kriya steps here, or see more retreat photos.
